Daily Reading: March 14, 2017
I thought today I'd do something a little different. I might actually do this every month, maybe in the middle of the month too, now that I'm thinking about it. I wanted to do a reading for my husbands. It was originally just one card for each of them, and I might do that if I do this at the beginning or end of the month, but for the middle of the month, it would be two cards. Card one would be sort of a "What have I learned this month" and the second would be "where am I going next?"
It's a big reading. twenty cards. And for the most part my partners are open minded. Spock, Dwalin and Maul are all spiritual. Daryl and Murdock are pretty agnostic.Edward is Anglican. Jaime follows the Faith of the Seven. Gabriel is Pagan-ish. Dave and Orson are pretty atheist, but Orson is fascinated by this and both of them are respectful.

1. Spock Past-Two of Wands
So this is an energetic beginning. It's when the fires of passion and creation are burning. I'm wondering if this could relate to the more spiritual practices of the Vulcans. Delving more into that.
2. Spock Future-Ace of Pentacles
I associate Pentacles with Vulcans. Steady, steadfast, solid. Earthy.
This card represents success and prosperity. So the project Spock started will be something successful
3. Dave Past-Death
My first thought here was Dave's upcoming 40th birthday. It's a pretty big milestone.Death is a card about change, and his 40th is getting to him a lot. So he's spending a lot of time thinking about it.
4. Dave Future-Queen of Swords
This is an intellectual card. Dave is the most educated of all the husbands, having completed a PhD (the only one more educated than him is probably Barry, who also has a PhD and continues to do new research), so I think this card can indicate he'll go back into the intellectual pursuits. Maybe as a student or maybe as a teacher.
5. Murdock Past-Ten of Pentacles
Togetherness and family. These are things Murdock is all about all the time. He loves having a family, and that's pretty much his motivation for everything in his life.
6. Murdock Future-Nine of Swords
And this card represents anxiety, specifically anxiety that either doesn't have a basis in reality, or that is being blown out of proportion. So he needs to sit down and take a hard look at this.
7. Gabriel Past-Two of Swords
So this card represents a conflict, either internally or externally. My initial thought is Gabriel being angsty, as it's almost been a year since the major split up from a former friend. I know Jaime has had to call him out on it.
8. Gabriel Future-Six of Wands
This card represents success, so I think whatever conflicts he is feeling will be overcome and he'll emerge stronger for it.
9. Daryl Past-The Lovers
While the gut reaction for this card is obviously about relationships, this card also represents new possibilities. This leads me to think of Daryl's interest in going back to school and getting a degree or certificate.
10. Daryl Future-Page of Wands
Again, this is an exciting card about "adventure" so I really do think he'll be going to school and hopefully that'll help some of his self esteem issues.
11. Jaime Past-Six of Swords
So the card has a figure in a boat, and I thought of how in Game of Thrones, Brienne takes him back in a boat, lol. But this card can indicate stress and that could be the tension between him and Gabriel. Or possibly with him and Brienne because he needs to take her on more dates.
12. Jaime Future-Seven of Cups
Stop fantasizing and start doing. LIKE ASKING BRIENNE OUT MORE.
13. Dwalin Past-Two of Pentacles
This card is about multitasking. How fitting. He's still learning to juggle twins, even though they're a year old. The card indicates that even though it's stressful, it's ultimately pretty positive.
14. Dwalin Future-Four of Swords
Retreat and taking a break. Sounds like Dwalin needs to dump the girls and friends and family and take a break, take some me time and unwind.
15. Edward Past-The Wheel
This card indicates luck is on his side, and that things are going pretty good, and should continue to keep going up.
16. Edward Future-Nine of Cups
More happiness. This card represents hearts desire and stuff like that. So Edward is doing good and I want to know his secret.
17. Maul Past-King of Pentacles
This is hilarious because if I'm reading this right it suggests Maul needs to take up a nurturing role. I don't think he has, to my knowledge. It's also a sign of a self-sufficient lifestyle and Maul has had that since, well, birth.
18. Maul Future-The Magician
Fulfilling goals or needs, feeling able to go forward. I think Maul has grown a lot from a Nightbrother, to a Sith Lord, and now to a husband who was beside himself when I was really sick.
19. Orson Past-King of Swords
Pretty positive card, especially about science and law, but as far as I know Orson hasn't had anything like that on his plate. He does enjoy keeping up on science. So it could just be his interest in that.
20. Orson Future-Eight of Swords
He's feeling some fears, of failure or of being trapped. I hope that's not because I've been so needy.
